Sundance for me was crazy! Between Ticket Cake's growth & VIP hosting I only sat down 1 time without my laptop to enjoy the film festival and I end up in this big old ordeal with Jeremy Pivon and his management for filming this video clip.

Jeremy Piven is the actor that plays Ari Gold on HBOs Entourage. He just happened to be in the same place I was for lunch taking some photos with a photographer. I'm a big fan of his work and I thought it was pretty cool we were in the same room so I pulled out my little point and click camera and hit the record button.

 He starts joking with the photographer about how much he is going to hate the super bowl this year and starts calling Big Ben Roethlisberger Big Ben Rapest-burger and some other football ranting then does a double take and  realizes I am filming him. Then I put the camera down but he starts stressing out.

 About 3 min later his manager walks up to me and asks for my camera so she can delete my video clip of Jeremy. I hesitated to hand it over because I was not sure she had the legal right to demand that. So I asked if I broke any laws and she said "Look I don't like deleting this video either but Jeremy is very concerned that clip will end up on the internet. If you let me delete the video clip then I will have Jeremy come over her and take a good photo with you." I did not want to be labeled as trouble maker so I said OK and handed over the camera.

Then guess what she did...

She deleted the video clip then just walked off without asking him to take a photo with me. I stood there for over 30 minutes waiting for her to ask Jeremy. As far as I could tell she never asked him a damn thing. She just lied to me.

It made me so angry I immediately went back to where I was working and called a programmer we work with who knows about recovering deleted files. After about 15min on the phone with him I got back the video I took of Jeremy Piven's football rant.

I would have never thought anyone would have cared about that clip but I called up TMZ and they bought it right up. Within 24 hours it was posted on TMZ.com and got over 2,000 Facebook likes and 40 pages worth of comments.

And in all fairness I do understand Jermys desire to not let comments like that get out, we are all human. But his manager made a big mistake by not honoring our deal.

Also just so you know because I am only 95% slime ball I did donate every penny that TMZ gave me to "The Safe Haven Shelter for Battered Women"

Plus I Photoshopped myself into a picture with Jeremy anyways. So take that!
